I studied Fine Art at Reading
University under the tuition of Claude Rogers and Terry Frost between
1967-71 and completed an art teaching course at Goldsmiths College
1971-72. He taught Art in two East London schools between 1972-1990.He
has been Head of Education at the National
Union of Teachers since 1990.
I work mainly in dry pastels,using colour as a symbolic tool for recording memories of valued places and people. Edward Hopper, Jack Yeats, Peirre Bonnard and Tacita Dean have the greatest influence on me.
I've exhibited many times including in the Whitechapel Open. I've been an exhibiting member of the Greenwich Open Studios since 1990. My prices range from between £100-£600.
